Omega-Genetik Özel Omega-Pro Genetik Hastalıklar Değerlendirme Merkezi (Omega-Genetik) regards corporate and personal information as an extremely valuable asset. For this reason, our information and support business systems are of critical importance for our business and must be protected appropriately.

The purpose of corporate information security is to ensure that information belonging to Omega-Genetik remains only with authorized persons and that corporate information is complete, accurate and ready for use when needed. Due to the nature of Omega-Genetik's business activities, material and moral damages may arise from security vulnerabilities; the aim is to avoid these damages and reduce their possible effects.

All Omega-Genetik personnel are obliged to comply with the principles of protection of confidential information referred to in their Employment Contracts. It is mandatory that third-party stakeholders with access to Omega-Genetik information and their support personnel comply with the general principles of the Information Security Master Policy and other security responsibilities and obligations they are bound by.

All employees must fulfil the following matters in particular;

Ensuring the continuity and control of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information belonging to Omega-Genetik,

Limiting the exposure of Omega-Genetik to risks arising from the loss, corruption or misuse of its information assets,

Ensuring that the scope, content and implementation of information security standards are adequate to address the risk level faced by Omega-Genetik and that legal, regulatory, policy and best practice requirements are complied with.

The Omega-Genetik Information Technology Unit is the functional owner of the policies and procedures describing Information Systems activities and is responsible for their implementation within Omega-Genetik.

The manager of each unit is primarily responsible for taking the measures necessary to ensure compliance with the Information Security Policy and for monitoring the operation of the system.

Omega-Genetik undertakes to achieve and maintain full compliance with laws and regulations by meeting the applicable requirements regarding corporate information security, and to continuously improve the Information Security Management System it maintains.

Violations of the Information Security Policy are at the same time violations of ethical rules and may result in disciplinary action. Violations of the Information Security Policy detected through supervision, audit or reporting may result in disciplinary sanctions up to and including termination of employment.
