Galleri® is primarily considered for adults aged 50 and over with additional risk factors. Eligibility is determined by physician evaluation.
Galleri® is considered an additional screening option — not a replacement for existing cancer screening programs (breast, colorectal, cervical, etc.). Eligibility is determined by physician evaluation.
Who May Consider the Test
- Adults aged 50 and over
- People with a family history of cancer
- Long-term smokers
- People with occupational carcinogen exposure
- Cancer survivors under follow-up
- Those seeking extra screening for cancers not covered by current programs
Who the Test Is Not Suitable For
- Pregnant women
- Individuals aged 21 or under
- People undergoing active cancer treatment
Galleri® is not used to estimate inherited cancer risk (such as BRCA mutations); you would be directed to genetic counseling services for that purpose.
