Galleri® is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test that analyzes cell-free DNA (cfDNA) methylation patterns in blood with machine learning. When a signal is detected, it can predict the likely anatomic source of the signal (CSO).
Galleri®, developed by GRAIL, Inc., is a screening test that reads methylation "signatures" on circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) using next-generation sequencing and machine learning. Tumors leave distinctive methylation marks in the bloodstream even at the earliest stages of cancer; Galleri looks for those marks.
The test is not an FDA-approved diagnostic — in the US it is a CLIA laboratory-developed test administered with a prescription. Its clinical evidence comes from three major programs: CCGA (15,254 participants), PATHFINDER 1 and 2 (42,540 participants combined) and the NHS-Galleri randomized trial (142,826 participants) — more than 385,000 participants in total.
When a signal is detected, the test produces a prediction of the anatomical source (Cancer Signal Origin, CSO) among 18 regions, helping the physician plan the diagnostic work-up. In Türkiye the test is coordinated by Omega Genetik: home blood draw, Ministry of Health-registered biological material transfer, cold-chain shipping and post-result physician counseling are all included in the process.

Eligibility is determined by physician evaluation; the lists below are general guidance.

Not Suitable
- Pregnant women
- Individuals aged 21 or under
- People undergoing active cancer treatment
- Those seeking inherited risk estimation (e.g. BRCA) — Galleri® is not used for this purpose
How Does the Process Work?

Information Request and Physician Consultation
Fill in the form and our team will call you. The test is administered with a prescription; if you do not have a physician, we help with physician matching.

Blood Draw
A single venous blood draw (2 Streck cfDNA tubes, no fasting) is performed by the Omega Çare home nurse service in all 81 provinces or at the Omega Genetik Beytepe (Ankara) laboratory.

Biological Material Transfer
The sample is prepared in line with Ministry of Health records and chain-of-custody rules.

Cold-Chain Shipping
The sample is shipped by medical express courier to GRAIL’s CLIA/CAP-accredited laboratory in the US and processed within 7 days.

Result and Counseling
The result is delivered to your physician approximately 2 weeks after the sample reaches the laboratory. If a signal is detected, the diagnostic road map and genetic counseling process are managed.
